This essay tries to grasp a special teacher-student relationship, which is currently vanishing. Thereby it sketches a picture of the relation of education and resistance, of theory and praxis. On the one hand it examines the substance of the lecturing by those, for whom the protest of 1968 was a vivid experience. On the other hand it traces the emancipatory concerns of those, who are driven to get in these lectures by these concerns. The paper tries to understand the outlined relationship and its implications by reflecting on the increasing social powerlessness of emancipatory knowledge and tradition in the constellation of the actual disintegrating and brutalising neoliberal capitalism.Downloads
