Abstract

This text highlights the link existing between the pedagogical projects developed in Brazil, the economic politics and the mass media in the twentieth century. Important aspects of Brazilian’s educational proposal from the 1920’s until the event of the Electronic Learning will be reviewed. This pedagogical project reflects the economical ideals of the different moments of our history, and represents the cultural industry’s mechanism of social integration. Since the so called “radio age”, this convergence restores the Halbbildung process; or better yet, this confluence deepens the Halbbildung process which is under the disguise of formal democracy directed by new liberal politics.
