Este ensaio analisa, tendo como parâmetro teórico as análises estéticas de Theodor Adorno e a concepção de história de Walter Benjamin, como o romance produzido no período da ditadura militar brasileira (1964-1985), que desencadeou um efetivo terrorismo de Estado, foi negativamente afetado por ela. Ao mesmo tempo, procura identificar e analisar os modos como o romance reagiu ao terror estatal, em especial por meio da luta por narrar a matéria histórica recalcada, proibida: desse modo, destaca como ele, contrapondo-se à versão oficial dos acontecimentos, narrou o socialmente esquecido de maneira a reconstituir as atrocidades e os massacres ocorridos no período.Downloads
