Abstract

The concept “cultural industry” has reached a new meaning along the second half of the twentieth century, in a very different way as it was thought by Adorno and Horkheimer in 1944. This article tries to bring back some of its conceptual keys, especially those related to cinema, in order to connect them with the oppositional proposals of the film maker and writer Alexander Kluge.
