Abstract

El artículo examina el concepto de necesidad vital en Freud y Adorno. Mues­tra el espectro de significados de la necesidad vital en Freud, que van desde el momento constitutivo en el origen del aparato psíquico hasta la penuria social. A continuación, explica cómo Adorno, en su recepción de Freud, in­vierte críticamente el concepto de necesidad vital al señalar el condiciona­mien­to ­social de la falta de adaptación y la presión para adaptarse.
