Abstract

Marx's theory is not represent a positive theory for the "construction of socialism", but a negative theory of crises of the commodity-producing system. Rather than the "exoteric" Marx of the labor movement and class struggle, this paper claims actuality of an "esoteric" Marx that criticizes fetishism, abstract labor and the form of value as the defining moments of the commodity-producing system. Critical theory of capitalism is about putting an end to the autonomy of abstract labor and value, it is about ending with an "automatic subject" that threatens to drag down the whole of society and its reproduction in its fall.
