Archive policies
CONSTELACIONES. Revista de Teoría Crítica implements various procedures to ensure the ongoing accessibility of the digital objects stored on its servers:
- Backup copies.
- Monitoring of the technological environment to anticipate possible migrations of obsolete formats or software.
- Digital preservation metadata.
- Use of the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which allows for the digital preservation of journals in OJS. The PKP Preservation Network is secure and is run by the PKP (a non-profit organization), which uses an open source infrastructure (LOCKSS), and welcomes not only new journals, but also new storage partners and collaborators.
- Use of OJS (Open Journal Systems), open source software compatible with the OAI-PHM (Open Archive Initiative-Protocol for Metadata Harvesting) interoperability protocol.
In addition, CONSTELACIONES. Revista de Teoría Crítica deposits its metadata in different national and international repositories to guarantee long-term digital preservation, such as Dialnet and REDIB (Red Iberoamericana de Innovación y Conocimiento Científico).
The files published on this website are available in easily reproducible formats.
Authors are allowed and encouraged to deposit their work published in Constelaciones in other repositories, institutional or otherwise, as this facilitates its circulation, dissemination and preservation.
