Abstract

The following article constitutes a revision, from the perspective of Critical Theory and recurring in particular to Theodor W. Adorno negative dialectics, of the so called posmarxism thought, as it is developed by Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe. Focusing in the notion of antagonism, we propose to critically review the poststructuralist paradigm in which postmarxism postulate it, and we intend to think antagonism, from a Marxist and dialectical thought that avoids the ontologization of conflict and social antagonism, and that derivates it, on the contrary, from actual and historical social relationships in capitalist societies and the relationship of domination that lie within it.
