Abstract

El artículo examina el retorno de la religión en un mundo secular. En rea­li­dad, la religión no se fue nunca, está en los orígenes de la humanidad: como me­canismo de defensa y domesticación del horror. Esto no priva a la crítica ilustrada de la religión de su verdad, pero permite entender la persistencia de la religión en y a través de la crítica. La dialéctica de la desmitologización es al mismo tiempo la dialéctica de la remitologización: Una dialéctica que hoy se renueva entre el nuevo absoluto del mercado y el resurgir de los funda­mentalis­mos religiosos.
