CARÁCTER AUTORITARIO Y ESTADO AUTORITARIO: ¿CONCEPTOS DE AYER?

El presente artículo da cuenta del marco en el que el Instituto de Investigación Social de Max Horkheimer desarrolla los conceptos de carácter autoritario y estado autoritario. Su contexto es el esfuerzo de Horkheimer y Adorno por desarrollar una teoría capaz de dar cuenta de la transformación de las sociedades y la economía post-liberal, que ha de captar la transición a un capitalismo de Estado y la debilitación de la autonomía del individuo, que implica también el surgimiento de formas correlativas de personalidad. A partir de este contexto, y teniendo en cuenta la importancia de la incorporación del psicoanálisis freudiano para este diagnóstico, el texto intenta sondear la actualidad de dichos conceptos.Downloads
