Observaciones sobre la crítica de Habermas a Marx

Abstract

En este artículo ofrezco una reconstrucción de los argumentos centrales de la crítica que elabora Jürgen Habermas a Karl Marx, con el objetivo de reabrir el debate sobre sus implicaciones al interior de la teoría crítica. Para ello destaco lo que considero son las dos variantes argumentativas que Habermas desarrolló sobre el tema. Por un lado, investigo la variante elaborada en la etapa de 1964 a 1968 presente en Conocimiento e interés, basada principalmente en una crítica del concepto de trabajo en Marx. Por otro lado, estudio la variante elaborada en la obra principal de Habermas, Teoría de la Acción Comunicativa, basada en una crítica de la teoría del valor de Marx. Por último, muestro las limitaciones en la interpretación habermasiana de Marx, así como las insuficiencias que su propuesta conlleva para comprender críticamente al capitalismo.

Aldo Rabiela Beretta es doctor en filosofía por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Fue miembro del seminario de investigación de filosofía social de la Prof. Dr. Rahel Jaeggi en la Humboldt Universität de Berlín (2012-2014). Es miembro del Forschungs- und Dokumentationszentrum Lateinamerika en Berlín y docente de la Universidad Alice Salomon en Berlin.
